The all new
S-Type will go into the market in March 1999 and will be
produced in Castle Bromwich. Jaguar forecasts worldwide
sales of 40,000 S-Types in 1999, rising to 55,000 in 2000.
The total investment
for the new S-Type was at $ 700 Mill. Thereof about $ 350
Mill. were spent for the Castle Bromwich facilities.
